Halsey Stoops
“Stoop culture” has always been a big thing in NYC. With the pandemic and the arrival of summer, stoops became even more precious, a place to vent out a little, look the outside world, maybe some small group gatherings during the slow reopening. Having walked more frequently around my neighborhood to avoid public transportation, I noticed how lively and diverse those stoops are. So I started to document the people and their stoops on my street, Halsey St, in Brooklyn, and ask some of them how do they envision the future once they can step out freely again.
