Andria Watha
Chaldean-American photographer Andria Watha’s project documents the daily, religious and spiritual life inside Our Lady of Chaldean Sisters Convent House. Chaldeans are Aramaic-speaking, Eastern-Rite Catholics that are indigenous to Iraq, dating back to Mesopotamia. The full project will be featured once the workshop is completed.

A collaboration between FOTODEMIC and StrudelmediaLive to award a scholarship to one photographer for the class Diving Deep: A Monthly Critique Group taught by Anja Hitzenberger.
This course offers support for the creation of a photography project over a period of five months. Once the class is complete, the project will be featured on FOTODEMIC. Scholarship covering the tuition of the workshop, valued at $495, will be granted to 1 applicant.
Dates: Tuesdays, Oct 27–Feb 9, 2021
Time: 12:30–3:30pm EST
Sessions: 6 (Group meets once per month on the following 5) Tuesdays: Oct 27; Nov 17; Dec 15, 2020 and Jan 12; Feb 9, 2021, plus a private one-on-one session)
Limited enrollment: 7 students
