Splendor in the Grass

Photography has always been for me a powerful means to fight sadness. I tend to find comfort in the uncanny rather than in the pretty.; during these strange days more than ever.

I live on the countryside with my partner in a big house we rent to a family of musicians. It is one hour away from Vienna and ten minutes from the Czech/Austrian border. I am free to roam around on my scooter in the vicinity in search for inspiration. In Austria we do not need to fill a form to justify why we are out. It does not really feel like confinement but like a slow burn dysphoric script.
