In France as in many other places there has been a shortage of masks. I wanted to photograph a mask but couldn't find any. When I finally found one I took some boring pictures of it, then I put it on to go out. When I came back and unlaced it I held it in front of me - and here it was as I wanted it, as I felt about this worldwide lack of masks.
